Enjoy eating out, but finding places that offer gluten free options not easy to find, hopefully this website and FB group will help. https://www.facebook.com/groups/glutenfreehuddersfield

Aimed, primarily, at small independent places within 10 miles of Huddersfield Town Centre. We have created a category for 'National Chains' under the category 'further afield' (which covers places such as Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, Skipton etc) to give you ideas when away.
Each place on the website has had at least one recommendation through our facebook group or the website forum.
Some places offer gluten free but are NOT suitable for coeliacs, so please if you are Coeliac, contact them direct to check re fryers and contamination - but hopefully this website is a starting point for everyone
If you find a place which you think should be on here, please either add it into the forum, the facebook group or email admin@glutenfreehuddersfield.info with details, links, your photos and why you recommend it.

Events
For children and teens ages 6-16 who are gluten intolerant and their siblings - a free taster games workshop with Gemini Games in Huddersfield Town Centre. We would suggest that this would be no longer than 1 hour for children 11 and under, and a parent MUST be in attendance with children of this age. We are then looking at doing these on a regular monthly basis if people have enjoyed it. The next one would be the 16th December, same times. We will also have True Temptations Chocolate and Confectionery at the first one, with gluten free cakes etc to purchase.
Registration is now closed. However if you would still like to come along, please contact The Scullery Kitchen and Bar direct to see if there is any availability and they will add you to the group. Our first Christmas together as a group. We have 48 covers available, and look forward to welcoming you all - families, partners, children. A £5 deposit per person is required to book your space and the balance (£20 for 2 courses, £25 for 3 courses + extras if chosen) is required by bank transfer to Gluten Free Huddersfield bank account by 10 November 2023. Drinks are paid on the day by yourselves

We scrabbled together some basic equipment and worked hard into the night (after night!) to set up shop in Stokes Croft, Bristol. Tristan made the pies and Jon ran the shop. On day one we sold five pies (not a great start), but word spread fast and after two weeks there was a queue out of the door.
